Our Philosophy

We think rugby is special

There are many player positions in a rugby team and all have there own unique set of core skills required to fulfil a role. Whether it’s speed or strength there is a place for everyone in rugby, regardless of gender, size or shape!

Rugby revolves around a set of core values that define the game, they are Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

We believe…

Teamwork is crucial in rugby. The best way to succeed in work or play is to work together. Respect forms the foundation of Rugby. Everybody has something to contribute no matter how small. Enjoyment is why we play. Having fun, passion and positivity are key to great performance and achievement. Discipline defines rugby. It delivers strength of character and responsibility. Having to fully focus helps us achieve our goals. Sportsmanship is at the heart of rugby. We promote integrity and fairness.

These core values are not just restricted to the game. We believe rugby builds personality, character and resilience which helps build a positive attitude towards life.
